Resume

I had to update my resume, which has been on my to do list for a while, & I finally finished it! It was a lot harder to do than I thought it would be because the whole time if felt like I was showing off & trying to sell myself, saying, as if this piece of paper was saying this is why i'm so great. It is probably because for the past couple of years I have been trying to sell the idea of employing an intern & why that is the better option for organizations.

Application!

Have you ever read the application you submitted for your current position? I think there's a lot to be learnt be being reminded of who you where & what you were thinking when you wrote it. I did this while continuing to prepare for my turnover.

Also, if anyone sees someone from the MC, give them a hug! They have been working SO hard to put on incredible RCs

BOARD MEETING!!!

OMG!!!

This is a pretty big deal, let me set it up for you.

So, I got up later than usual since I don't have class until later today. It is after 9am so i'm checking some email since I could start getting busness related emails (being business hours)

Then I get a phone call. And i'm like, who would call this early & I recognize the number, it's someone from AIESEC Canada!!!

It was TAI!!!

She mentioned our meeting for tomorrow & I thought she was going to cancel or reduce the time, but she said there was something else, I AM INVITED TO THIS SATURDAY'S BOARD MEETING!!!

So i'm QUITE excited, but then get nervous as I get more details. Now, for those of you who don't know: I love the Board. They do SO much for us & all because they truly believe in this organization. This is why I videotaped the entire Supervisory Group session at IC & why I had to dress up for the Alumni Hall of Fame session (I would have dressed up for this Board meeting, I asked Tai, she said I should, the MC dresses business formal as well). I read the minutes of the Board meetings & love how they truly hold us accountable to our work. I try not to bother the MC close to when they have Board meetings since they have their normal work & then also have to prepare for the intense meeting.

I'm going over ALL my work to prepare! SO EXCITED!!!
